IHA Ohio Hindi Summer Camp 2019

The IHA Hindi Summer Camp provides a hands on opportunity to learn India’s national language, Hindi. Curriculum includes basic speaking, writing and reading skills presented in a fun, challenging atmosphere through real-life Indian culture scenarios. Students shall gain a foundation that will motivate and deepen their understanding of Hindi language and Indian culture. Our camp empowers students to respect all communities and individuals.

Bricks 4 Kidz Chesterfield serves the St. Louis County as well as St. Charles County.

ricks 4 Kidz Chesterfield is a STEM based educational program designed to offer students a high quality hands-on learning experience designed around scientific concepts using BRICKS 4 KIDZ MODELS, Robotics’ systems, and scientific laws and ideas. We offer summer camps, after school enrichment classes, in school field trips, and birthday parties.

Coconut Grove Ballet

Kiddie Camp students learn to dance where their favorite characters learned to dance, dress up like their favorite royalty, improve their coordination, meet other royal friends, learn other dance forms, crafts, stories, sharing. Feel the LOVE and JOY of dance this summer in a FUN, ENERGETIC & NURTURING environment!

 

 

Camp Lee Mar

Camp Lee Mar is a residential special needs camp for children and teenagers with mild to moderate learning and developmental challenges. A structured environment, individual attention and guidance are emphasized at all times. Campers enjoy traditional camp activities PLUS academics, speech and language therapy, music and art therapy, daily living skills, sensory-motor-perceptual training, and computers. We also have therapeutic horseback riding, a Zip Line and overnight trips. Junior Olympic heated pool, modern facilities and air-conditioned buildings (including cabins).

 

Vero Beach Museum of Art

Each week campers will explore artworks in the VBMA’s galleries that are related to the theme of the week. After their adventures in the galleries, they will return to the studios to create an original artwork inspired by the Museum’s permanent collection and special exhibitions.

Morning and/or Afternoon sessions are available with the option for supervised lunch care.
Lunch is not provided.

Limited scholarships are available.

Wildlife Conservation Society Zoos and Aquarium and Summer Camps

The Wildlife Conservation Society’s five zoos and aquarium of New York City host programs for children, families and adults throughout the year. The Bronx Zoo, Central Park Zoo, Prospect Park Zoo, Queens Zoo, and the New York Aquarium offer many opportunities to connect with nature right in our own backyard of NYC. Some of the educational options at our parks include summer camp, family overnights, programs for you and your toddler, birthday parties, and much more!
No matter which borough you live in, we encourage you to discover wildlife with the guidance of our talented educators. All programs include admission to the zoo for the day, and include special animal interactions that are sure to stay with you long after your visit is over.

 

Camps Airy & Louise

Camps Airy & Louise offer the perfect venue for your next overnight retreat. Located in the Catoctin mountains of western Maryland, within a 50 mile radius of Baltimore and Washington, DC, we have 2 spectacular facilities for your next spring, end of summer or fall retreat. We are proud to offer complete dining services, accommodations, and recreational facilities in a wonderfully serene environment for an affordable price.

During the camp season (mid-June through mid-August) camp functions as a traditional resident summer camp. During our off-season, Camps Airy & Louise provides a beautiful backdrop for adults and youth from religious groups, youth organizations, sorority retreats, cheerleading camps, athletic training, corporate meetings, bar mitzvahs, weddings, and more.

Badger Sports Camps

The Division of Intercollegiate Athletics is proud to offer a variety of residential and commuter summer camps in addition to one day fall, winter, and spring camps. Additional information on the camps offered by each of our sport programs is available by selecting the Sports Camps drop down at the top of the page.

All camps are held on campus at the University of Wisconsin – Madison in cooperation with University Health Services, University Housing and Dining – Conference Services, and the Division of Recreation Sports. Each specific sport camp is directed by Badger Coaches with assistance from high school and collegiate coaches.

Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention

The Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention provides you and your students with unprecedented access to world-class inventors, entrepreneurs, and visionaries, plus dynamic exhibits and hands-on learning that fuel each student’s thirst for knowledge. Students participating in Cade Museum field trips will receive the following:
+ Expert instruction in STEAM
+ Fun and interactive hands-on labs and experiments
+ Exposure to a “real” lab setting and equipment
+ Cade Lab loot bag with “make and takes”

Through hands-on lab projects and conceptual immersion with our exhibits,your students will be inspired to think like inventors as they apply these core science concepts:

• Pillars of Science – Exploring core content that correlates with CPALMS and NGSS Standards.

• Invention – Learning through the lens of invention and innovation, while exploring the lives of visionaries whose inventions have changed our world and continue to improve it.

• Exploration – Sparking creativity through hands-on projects and lasting “Make & Takes.”

Science with a Twist! | June 17-21
Each day your student will be immersed in the lives of inventors, exploring their inventions from geology to biology and more!

Creative Chaos! | June 24-28
Be sure to roll up your sleeves for this creative camp! Students will be making their own inventions with a mix of science and art.

Plant and Insect Inventions! | July 15-19
There are so many stories to discover about inventions made involving plants and insects! Students will make their own insect repellant, stamps from stamps, and much more.

Let’s Build! | July 22-26
Material science has never been more exciting as students discover building materials from the Earth and make their own. Explore comets (yes, you read that right), cement and kinetic sand in this camp you won’t want to miss!

Tech Camps | Ages 9+

Girls Build the World! | June 17-21
Join our friends from Women in Electrical and Computer Engineering (WECE) at UF for some fun and exciting tech projects! Sorry boys, this is an all-girls engineering class.

Robots and Rovers! | July 8-12
Students will try their hand working with three types of robots. They will learn basic coding and building their own Arduino rover with a 3D printer!

Technology Buffet! | July 22-26
Students will enjoy the top tech activities The Cade has to offer in this exciting class! Activities include coding, cad, robotics, and more. Each student will bring home an Ozobot kit at the end of camp to continue the fun!

At Aqua-Tots Swim Schools, we teach swimming techniques that provide a safe and fun experience for everyone. It can be enjoyed year round in our heated 90 degree pool. We offer swim lessons for children starting at four months of age. Swimming is a sport that knows no season!
