The Kicking District

The Kicking District is a martial arts and fitness facility located in the City of Torrance, California, specifically Old Town Torrance. This establishment was founded on the traditions of Taekwondo with the incorporation of modern self-defense techniques. Taekwondo skills are taught; however, the emphasis of our programs are focused on character development through martial arts and applying the teachings of Taekwondo (Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, and Indomitable Spirit) into daily life.

Students learn timeless skills of self-defense, a deep sense of respect for themselves and others, and learn how to focus 100% of their energy to accomplish whatever it is they want in life!

Many parents are blown away when their children’s grades start improving shortly after they join our program. That’s because martial arts provides children with a powerful, success-driven framework that reaches into every area of their lives.

Skyhawks Sports Academy

We provide over ten different kinds of summer and year-round after-school sport programs for kids ages 36 months to 14 years across the nation. We are best known for teaching life skills through sports.
We are currently looking for hosting organizations to partner with in your area. I am reaching out to see if you would be interested in running programs with our organization.
Many of our hosting organizations run their own programs in-house, they just add our programs due to the one-stop nature of our company. We serve a wide age range and offer a variety of beginner to intermediate programs including Soccer, Flag Football, Basketball and our popular multi-sport classes. Our hosting partners love us because there is no cost to the organization – as a matter of fact, you get money back from a portion of the proceeds. All we need from you is the facility and help promoting to the kids; we provide the rest. You don’t have to worry about coaches, insurance or equipment.

Scouting provides youth with programs and activities that allow them the opportunity to try new things, provide service to others, build self-confidence, and reinforce ethical decision-making.
Every unit varies their program calendar to meet the needs of the families they serve.
